New Recruit Ch.3

Iago and Liana entered Jafar's office. Liana coughed. "Um...we have some bad news..."

Jafar raised his head from his red oak desk and cocked an eyebrow. He took hi black glasses off and put them down on the papers he was writing on. "And what exactly is this news?"

"Well...Kelsea has a new recruit..." Iago said nervously.

Jafar's was still for a moment and then he bursted out laughing. Liana gave Iago an odd look and Iago shrugged as if to say he had no clue what was going on.

"Oh you foolish minions. That isn't an issue at all! Why at any time Alisha and Rosetta will return with Kelsea's best friend. He will help me get her...I know he will. He has thing for villains. Even though he is gay..."

Liana rolled her eyes. "Why is he wasting his damn time on her..." She mumbled.

Jafar's face hardened and his eyes darkened. "What did you say?" He said sharply.

Liana clenched her fists. "She is a waste of your damn time!!! She is such a spoiled goody two-shoes!!! She has no evil in her what so ever! What do you find so wonderful in her? She is like a blank piece of paper! Nothing interesting about her at all! I mean she-" At that moment Jafar was in front of her and back slapped her with so much force she fell on to the floor.

Jafar looked down at her with fire burning in his chocolate brown eyes. "If you EVER speak like that about her again, I will rip your tongue out with my bare hand. Do you understand?"

Liana nodded her head quickly while her hand craddled her bleeding cheek. She quickly scurried up and out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

Iago was perched on a beautiful black and red arabian style vase frozen with fear.

Jafar sighed and walked over to his bay window. He watched the rain droplets flow down the window. "I don't get it Iago...I just feel I need her. Like,I want to be her soul mate. I want to hug her everyday, wake up with her next to me. I just...love her."

"What about protecting her?" Iago said.

"I already do."

Iago flew over to Jafar and perched down on his shoulder. "How exactly do you? I mean, you are her enemy..."

"Mythical creatures from unknown worlds. They are popping up like no tomorrow. The worlds are mostly fantasy, like the ones from the novels that Kelsea read. Which leads me to believe that when she reads something, it comes to life. Many unknown murders and disapperances are from thos creatures. They are trying to get the main source though, which is Kelsea. So I have had Alisha, Liana, or Rosetta keep them away from her." Jafar explained. "The woods in the back of this castle have man eating fairies...Which come out at night, which is why I advise everyone to stay in at night."

Before Iago could have a chance to say something there was a knock at the door.

Jafar turned around. "Come in."

Alisha entered the room. "We have Austin. But he hasn't quite come too yet."

Jafar smiled evilly. "Have him sent right away to here. And don't let the others see him. They mustn't know yet."

Alsiha nodded and left the room with the door closed behind her.

"Now. Let us prepare the room for his arrival." Jafar said eagerly to Iago.
