New Recruit Ch.6

I opened my eyes and looked around me. Darkness was enveloped all around me. A flashing white light soon came into view and exploded into a blinding light before me. I shoot my hands up to my eyes and closed them shut.

"Kelsea, It has been a while since we last spoke."

My heart halted for a brief moment and I tried to catch my breathe. "Voice...It's...YOU!!"

The voice chuckled. "Yes. I believe it is time you knew who I was."

The light vanished and before me was....Gaea.

I gasped. "Mother...Earth?!"

She smiled. "Yes. It is I, Gaea."

"But...Why would you choose a lowlife like me?! How do you get to choose?" I gasped. "Did Hades know about this the whole time?!" I spouted out.

Gaea laughed. "Oh you silly child. I choose you because of your loyalty, spunk, and generosity.  But mostly because you deserved a chance. Now I got to choose because my grandson truly has issues...He feels the need to have sex with every mortal in his sight. And about Hades....You should ask him yourself. He does truly care about you dear."

I snorted. "Sure he does. Because having sex with a slut is showing he cares."

Gaea sighed. "Dear, He was scammed. It was a trap."

I raised my eyebrow. "How?"

"Who do you think would try to break you two up?"

I thought for a moment. My eyes widened and my face paled. "Oh no....Jafar...." My face dropped. "I feel so terrible now....I should apologize to him. But..."

Gaea raised her hand up. "I have said enough dear. Just be on your guard. And don't be over the top with your singing. It might off set something..."

I smirked. "Sure. Like I could off set anything with the villains." I laughed at the thought.

"Well I should go. Just keep it in mind." Gaea said. "And also, You might want to keep that Disney Villain obsession of yours under wraps more or it will get you into some trouble with them."

I averted my eyes. "I don't know what you are talking about..."

Gaea snorted. "Whatever you say dear. Till we met again."

Before I could say another word, everything turned black and I blanked out.

"Kelsea...Kelsea!!" Meghan shouted in my face.

I blinked my eyes open and memories of what just happened flooded in. My heart started to beat rapidly and I shoot up. "JAFAR!!!" I shouted with panic.

"Yes?"

My eyes widened as my face paled. I turned my head around and saw him standing not to far from me. I remembered what Gaea told me about what he did. I narrowed my eyes and sneered. I turned my whole body so that I was facing him. "I see you are delighted to see me." He said sarcastically.

I snorted and crossed my arms. "More like disgusted."

Jafar rolled his eyes. "Well at least one of us is pleasured to see the other."

Mickey walked in the lobby. "Oh great...Jafar. No funny business here.You know the rules."

Jafar smirked. "Of course. Why in heavens would I try?" His eyes quickly scanned me as he spoke.

I growled. "Lets go Meghan. I have stupid performances I need to get ready for..."

Meghan only nodded. I walked back to the dressing room with Meghan. We both walked in and I slammed the door behind me. "I JUST WANT TO STRANGLE HIS SKINNY THROAT."

Meghan's eyes widened. "All he did was check you out Kelsea..."

I cringed. "First off, it is disgusting when he does it. Two, I found out something rather irritating that he did. He set the whole thing up with Hades and I. Which means he has a succubus that he had the Mad Doctor create." I paced around the room. "I just can't wrap my finger around the-"

There was a knock on my door.

"If your name doesn't start with a J and/or you are my enemy, then you may come in." I said annoyed.

The door opened and Hades was standing in the door way. "Um, my uh, I mean Gaea told me I should see you?"

I smiled and quickly walked over to him. I hugged him and started to cry. He held me in his arms. "I tried to tell you Kelsea..."

I cried harder. "I know. I feel like such a jerk...Can we maybe just be friends?"

Hades's face saddened a little. "I....I guess..."

I let go of him and looked at his face. "Wait...You still....have feelings for me?"

Hades nodded. "But I can live with being friends I guess. I did have something made for you." He took out a silver little box with a gold bow on it. Hades smirked. "Does this look familiar?"

My eyes twinkled. "That is the same box that started it all..." I took it and opened the box. Inside was a beautiful crystal dolphin necklace with a silver chain. "Its beautiful...."

Hades gleamed. "It can be the start of a new friendship."

I smiled. "Well...you better get ready..." Hades said. My face dropped at the reminder of me performing.

"Right...Thanks again Hades." He left and I closed the door. I sighed. "I know what songs I am gonna sing, I just don't want to."

Meghan hugged me. "It will be okay."

I hugged her back. "You're right." Deep inside me I knew that things would not go smoothly tonight.
